Our History

SARA PERU (SOUTH AMERICAN RESCUE ASSOCIATION SAC) is a company that provides health services. It was originally founded in 2009, located in the city of Cusco where emergency medical services and extraction/air transport of seriously ill patients located in remote areas were provided, mainly for international clients. At that time SARA PERÚ was also accredited by the Berlin-based Steinbeis Institute in agreement with IncentiveMED and Ipas, complying with the University's standards in terms of Quality and EMS training. The main motivation was to provide medical and rescue care with the same standards and medical equipment as in Germany for our insurance and private clients. Likewise, after the rescue and extraction, our company takes charge of the integral medical management of the patient through hospitalizations in Cusco, aeromedical transport to the city of Lima and in some cases repatriations.

Due to the increase in operations nationwide and not exclusively in Cusco, the company moves to Lima to provide services nationwide. We have worked providing international services, medical coverage with urban and rural ambulances for mining, extractive plants and large events such as DAKAR through 4x4 ambulances and medical helicopters.

Currently and after the pandemic, we are expanding our services to national clients such as individuals and national insurers. We have been providing an urban emergency ambulance service and transfers to SANNA, home medical consultations in general medicine and pediatrics, specialized consultations in psychiatry. We also provide aeromedical services to different national and international institutions such as the Medical College of Peru, Essalud, MINSA, SALUDPOL, SANITAS, among others.
